Women's Ministry
Calvary Baptist Church has many opprotunities for women to fellowship and serve together. We believe that fellowship and service go hand-in-hand in the healthy development of relationships within the local church.
Each month, a different woman hosts a Bible study on a pre-set Monday evening. The study moves from one woman's home to another, giving different individuals the opprotunity to host the fellowship and lead the women in an encouranging study of God's Word. At these fellowships, prayer cards are exchanged. Each woman prays for the needs listed on the card they receive until they meet again, at the next month's study. Only through close fellowship and the sharing of an individual's needs, can relationships be nurtured and friendships grow.
A yearly Ladies Retreat is hosted by Amazing Grace Baptist Camp. Women who sign up to go, enjoy a weekend of encouraging Bible study as well as great food and fellowship with women from churches in the surrounding area.
